1. Not a Law Firm

Important Notice

DisputeKit is not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. Use of this Service does not create an attorney-client relationship.

DisputeKit is a document preparation and educational service. We provide tools that help consumers understand their rights under federal credit laws and prepare dispute correspondence for submission to credit bureaus and creditors. Nothing on this website or within the Service constitutes legal advice. For advice specific to your legal situation, please consult a licensed attorney.

2. Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)

DisputeKit is designed to help consumers exercise their rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq.). The FCRA gives consumers the right to:

  • Know what is in their credit file
  • Dispute incomplete or inaccurate information
  • Have inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information removed or corrected
  • Have outdated negative information removed
  • Seek damages from violators

DisputeKit does not guarantee any particular outcome from dispute submissions. Credit bureaus and furnishers are responsible for investigating and responding to disputes under the FCRA.

3. Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA)

The Credit Repair Organizations Act (15 U.S.C. § 1679 et seq.) regulates credit repair organizations. DisputeKit provides document preparation tools and educational resources only. We are not a credit repair organization as defined by CROA, and we do not:

  • Guarantee the removal of any item from your credit report
  • Make representations that we can improve your credit score by a specific amount
  • Advise you to make false statements to credit bureaus
  • Charge fees in advance for services not yet performed (for applicable states)

Any credit improvement that results from use of the Service is the result of the credit bureau or creditor verifying, updating, or removing information in accordance with applicable law.

4. Affiliate Program Disclosures

DisputeKit operates an affiliate partner program through Rewardful. Affiliates earn a 40% commission on qualifying sales referred through their unique affiliate link. The following disclosures apply to our affiliate program:

  • Affiliates must comply with the FTC's Endorsement Guides (16 C.F.R. Part 255) and disclose their relationship with DisputeKit in all promotional materials
  • Affiliates may not make false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about the Service
  • Affiliates may not engage in spam, deceptive marketing, or prohibited advertising practices
  • Commission income examples are illustrative only and do not guarantee earnings
  • DisputeKit reserves the right to withhold, reverse, or adjust commissions for fraudulent or non-qualifying referrals

5. Income Disclaimer

Any income or earnings examples presented on this website — including on the Partner Program page — are provided for illustrative purposes only. These figures are not guarantees, representations, or projections of your actual earnings. Individual results may vary significantly based on effort, experience, market conditions, audience size, and other factors beyond our control. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Most affiliates earn little to no income.
